Schema Fields

Form elements are the questions that you are asking. Schema fields are how the data is saved.

The Perceived Stress Scale (PSS) item above is a multiple choice question with coded responses. 

The schema field, also known as a variable, will be the column name within any Chloe reports (ex. PSS_1 above and below). Despite the choices for the participant being presented as (Never - Very Often), when submitted reports will have the coded value (0- 4) and PSS_1 can be mapped as an integer value rather than a text value.

Reports can be used to pull form responses from multiple participants.

This report contains the ID of the respondent and their scores. For the first question they responded ‘Fairly Often’ which is coded to ‘3’.
